Dr. Owens Portrait  Scott L. Owens, DVM, MS, Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, a  1998 graduate of Zionsville Community High School, completed his Residency in Veterinary Internal   Medicine and returned to Circle City Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital just outside Zionsville.  

Dr. Owens completed his BS and veterinary degrees from Purdue University.  After a year in general  practice, he joined Circle City as an emergency clinician and it soon became apparent that his interest and natural talent in internal medicine would lead him back to Purdue for additional focused study.

PaytonPeyton came to us unable to stand or walk, and in extreme pain.   Giving up was not an option for his family.  They wanted Peyton to get well so Dr. Kate Fitzwater, MS, DACVS,  performed a delicate surgery to remove the disc from his neck that was compressing his spinal cord and causing his paralysis and pain.
